The region is steeped in history and culture, and in 2019, Darren conceived likecesme.com as a personal, not-for-profit project to highlight, especially for international visitors, the broad spectrum of activities and experiences that can be enjoyed in Çeşme.
Unfortunately, on most websites that describe the activities and infrastructure in Çeşme, the majority of information is only available in Turkish, is difficult to access or understand or, in the rapidly changing life of Tūrkiye, is quickly outdated.
Our website, likecesme.com, seeks to bring together information in English (with translations available via Google Translate at the bottom of each page) to assist travellers in navigating their way around and provide ideas for immersive experiences. As such, this site is dedicated to showcasing the rich culture, stunning landscapes, and unique experiences of Çeşme and Western Anatolia.
