Urlice Vineyards is a small husband-and-wife family business where wines have been produced since 1997 under the principles of organic farming with no irrigation, chemical-free with minimal intervention.
The winery is in a 150-year-old restored house. The Vineyard Cafe menu includes pizzas, salads, and a small selection of meat dishes, including uniquely a selection of pork products (ribs, bacon and sausage). Note the menu does not include any set wine-tasting options, and wine-tasting is STRICTLY by advance reservation only. Guests may, of course, order wine by the glass (from approx. €7) or by the bottle (from approx. €28).
Red wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and Chardonnay grape varieties are retailed only after at least two years in French oak barrels and after being laid for a minimum of 18 months in bottles.
